It’s that time of year again to pay your yearly dues of $10.00 per person. The only requirement is that you must be 21 years of age to join. From now until December 31st, 2004, dues are only $5.00. For your convenience,
below is a form for you to fill out and return to UKCSC. (One per person)
A lifetime membership is $200.00 per person.

Is anyone interested in starting a weigh- in program? Some have asked if we could have a time to weigh in and talk about ideas for weight loss. Call the center with ideas
Tai Chi
Tai chi class has begun again. It runs from 10:30am until 11:30am on Tuesdays and there is no cost. Registration is not required so just show up and learn how to be healthier and in better condition.
Bingo
Thank you to all the volunteers who work so hard with the Bingo program. The funds raised through Bingo greatly help the Center meet it’s mission of providing services to the Seniors of Upper County

United Way Grant
Many thanks to the United Way
for their granting us $4000.00 for the year 2003 - 2004 . In addition to that amount there was a designated grant in the amount of $3819.00 also to be distributed during the same time.

Scrip Fundraiser
We have scrip, or gift certificates from several retail businesses available for sale at the Center. The Center makes from 1 ½ percent to 16 percent on the sales. Be sure to support your Center by buying scrip from us.

The next class for your card is November 18th, 2004, here at the Center. Class starts promptly at 4:00pm so come a little early.

Whoever picked up their $95.00 in Super One scrip needs to pay for it. We need to balance our scrip account and that is the only transaction that is outstanding. Thank you very much

Volunteer Opportunity
We are looking for someone who would like to take on the chore of dusting inside the building. This would take about 30 minutes per week to dust the furniture, sills, and other dust gatherers we have. If this job is something you would like to do, drop by and talk to Elaine.
